It’s truly astonishing how much money can be raised in such a short time for an issue people are passionate about. Just in August, a record-breaking $449 million was donated to presidential candidates Harris and Trump—nearly half a billion dollars aimed at electing the next President of the United States.
As a non-profit CEO, my role is to secure donations for our organization’s mission: providing safe homes and resources for child victims of sex trafficking. We have the people, the programs, and the passion to expand our efforts on behalf of these vulnerable children; what we need most is funding.
Our most urgent initiatives are:
Buying the land to open Courage House Northern Nevada.
Nevada has no residential, therapeutic home for minor victims recovered in this region.
Building a security wall around the Courage House Moshi campus in Tanzania.
We recently experienced a break-in situation resulting in one of our security staff members being assaulted.
Recruiting, hiring, and training additional staff members to increase capacity at our campuses.
We have the land and buildings to bring more girls home—with additional staff, we can say yes to more recovered children.
In our nearly 15 years of service to this invisible population, we have provided support to nearly 200 children - including nearly 30 of their babies - in a residential, therapeutic setting. Your generosity has made it possible for us to break the cycle of abuse for not just one generation, but two.
