Today is the last day to register for the 7th Annual Courage Triathlon held at the beautiful Lake Almanor on September 11th!
Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with our Courage Worldwide volunteers who are battling the Dixie Fire in California. We have volunteers who have had to evacuate their homes, others who have lost their homes and still others who are opening their homes to their neighbors all the while moving forward with this event that raises funds to rescue children who have been sold for sex. Our hearts go out to this community who has worked so hard to bring about healing and restoration to these vulnerable ones while they fight their own fight to protect their community. We are humbled at their commitment.
We will continue monitoring the fire situation but at this time are proceeding with the event as cooler temps are coming to the area.
Have you registered for the Courage Triathlon yet? If not, here is your sign! It’s the last day (August 17th) to register in order to get your participant shirt for the race.
After holding this triathlon virtually last year, we are so incredibly excited to reconvene at Lake Almanor for a day of running, biking, kayaking and most importantly, fun! Our motto for this event is do what you love for these kids. This event benefits Courage Worldwide’s mission to rescue and restore victims of sex trafficking worldwide.
Even if you’re not a “triathlete”, you can absolutely participate in this event!
While you run, bike and kayak, volunteer, sponsor or fundraise, know that you are making a huge difference!
Continue to send your thoughts and prayers for all of the volunteers fighting the Dixie Fire. We are looking forward to seeing all of you on September 11th!
