For all of us at Courage Worldwide, we understand how devastating it is to hear about human trafficking, especially trafficking of children, and feel so helpless. The questions for many of us come to mind, how can I help? What can I do to help fight against trafficking and change the lives of those victimized by this evil? We have put together a list of things you can do, even from your own home, that really do make a big difference, especially in the lives of trafficking victims around the world. The next couple of weeks we will share several ways you can help!
1. Book a speaker for your church, club, school, event or law enforcement training.
Our CEO/Founder, Jenny Williamson, and our Executive Directors of Courage House Tanzania, Pastor Joel and Stephanie Midthun*, are available for speaking and/or trainings. They have all spoken to thousands of people in churches, schools, clubs, events and trauma trainings in the US, UK and Africa. * The Midthuns are back for some extended time in the U.S. this year due to COVID-19 and are available to speak this summer and fall 2020.
To book Joel and Stephanie to speak, contact them at s.midthun@courageworldwide.org
Their book Battles and Breakthroughs in Setting Captives Free is available here. To book Jenny Williamson to speak, contact her at j.williamson@courageoworldwide.orgHer book Do You Have the Courage to Be You? is available here.
2. Purchase an item from our Courage Products store.
3. Monthly giving or supporting a portion of Courage House Tanzania's monthly costs on our online “store.”
Courage Store - food, counseling, educational needs, medical needs, and sewing center supplies. Currently we have 38 girls and their children, and your support allows us to meet their basic needs, something they have never experienced until coming to Courage House. This is the first step of their healing and the transformation of their lives!
Look out for more suggestions on how you can get involved next week!
