I came home to Courage House not knowing what to expect besides a lot of caring, loving people, which hasn’t been something all that great in my life.
I haven’t been here that long, but I know this place is going to make me so much stronger than I have ever been.
I have so many opportunities and so much support. It is kind of overwhelming — but in a good way — because I have never had it like I do here. These people truly love me and know I’m not here on accident.
Seeing these horses I get to call my own, every day, just makes life so much better.
My innocence has been taken away long enough.
But I’m regaining it every day here. I’m healing more and more, and this is my HOME, thanks to fate and to GOD. In God’s name, I pray every girl in my situation gets a turn to heal and overcome all things.
I am a Courage Girl!
