3 Ways You Can Get Involved
1. Book a speaker for your church, club, school, event or law enforcement training.
Our CEO/Founder, Jenny Williamson, and our Executive Directors of Courage House Tanzania, Pastor Joel and Stephanie Midthun*, are available for speaking and/or trainings. They have all spoken to thousands of people in churches, schools, clubs, events and trauma trainings in the US, UK and Africa.
* The Midthuns are back for some extended time in the U.S. this year due to COVID-19 and are available to speak this summer and fall 2020.
To book Jenny Williamson to speak, contact her at email@example.com
Her book Do You Have the Courage to Be You? is available here.
2. Buy our Courage products or become a Courage Ambassador!
People have been loving these products made by our girls in the Courage Leadership Academy (Courage House Tanzania’s transition program for girls 18+). Kimonos, pants, face masks (which you can buy online at our Courage Store!), headbands, scrunchies and earrings are all handmade and sold here in the U.S. by our Courage Ambassadors to raise funds for college fees for the girls. Education is key to our Courage girls becoming more empowered, and able to change their communities for the better! Each product tells a story of redemption, and is a conversation starter so you can spread awareness to those in your own community. If you would like to become a Courage Ambassador and sell these products to your friends, family or co-workers, contact firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more. It’s fun and easy, and you can commit to doing this one time or on an ongoing basis.
Follow us at @courageproducts on Instagram so you can stay up to date on, and even purchase, Courage Products! Courage Products are being worn all over the US, from New Jersey (model featured in the above right picture) to California (group picture below)! Make sure to tag us when you wear your products to add your state!
3. Monthly giving or supporting a portion of Courage House Tanzania’s monthly costs on our online “store.”
If you are looking for a practical and simple way to support Courage House Tanzania, we have categorized our monthly costs in our Courage Store – food, counseling, educational needs, medical needs, and sewing center supplies. Currently we have 38 girls and their children, and your support allows us to meet their basic needs, something they have never experienced until coming to Courage House. This is the first step of their healing and the transformation of their lives!
