Dwight Taylor, Sr. aka Transparent, is an International Christian Rap Artist, motivational speaker, and mentor. This 2010 Stellar Award Nominee, for Hip Hop Gospel CD of the Year, won the “Best of the Blessed” Artist of the Year award at the 2009 Christian Music Awards (CMA). Originally from Richmond, California, Transparent is currently residing in Fairfield, California. He is a Bishop O’Dowd High School and Fresno State University Alumni with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development.

In January 2009, Transparent released his eagerly awaited debut album “L.I.F.E.”(Living In Favor Everyday), which has been globally recognized. In September 2009, “L.I.F.E” was released in Australia followed by a two-week promotional tour (his third tour in Australia) where Transparent spoke in schools during the day and ministered through music in the night. While touring he was privileged to empower people from Melbourne to Brisbane. His latest musical project, D.O.P.E.(Dominating On Purpose Everyday), is an album that challenges and inspires people to be everything that God created them to be. In October 2011, Transparent took “D.O.P.E.” to the Grand Cayman Islands to motivate High School students and minister through music in churches.
He has already accumulated over 10 years of experience as a life coach and advocate for youth/young adult empowerment.

Today, Transparent has ministered through music, speaking and teaching at approximately 500 different venues across the world (Churches, Cruises, High Schools, Colleges, Talent shows, Prisons, Juvenile Halls, Award shows, etc). He currently holds empowerment sessions every Tuesday for the youth at the Solano County Juvenile Hall and inspires them through his music.
