Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) Mike Rayfield is a 24 year veteran of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. For the past five years he has supervised the Violent Crime Squad, which includes a Safe Streets Violent Crime Task Force, Safe Streets Gang Task Force and a Crimes Against Children Task Force (CACTF). The CACTF, comprised of FBI agents, Sacramento Police Department and Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department Detectives, focuses primarily on the interstate transportation of minors for the purpose of sex (juvenile prostitution), has been in existence since 2006 and was formed in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Justice/NCMEC Innocence Lost National Initiative (ILNI). Prior to his work on the CACTF, SSA Rayfield spent six years in San Antonio Texas assigned to a DEA Task Force, followed by six years as a member of the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team Based in Quantico, Virginia, and 13 Years in Sacramento working primarily Violent Crime investigations in a multi-agency task force environment. SSA Rayfield has been married for 23 years and is the father of 3 children.
