Dr. Chad Koyanagi is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry with the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. He works in various clinical settings including the adult inpatient unit, emergency room, homeless shelter/outreach, domestic violence clinic, and rural primary care clinics. Dr. Koyanagi has been advocating and helping victims of human trafficking for about 6 years. He has been working with all of the amazing agencies and advocates who have dedicated their lives to victims of underage human trafficking. He has also been trying to inspire medical students and medical/psychiatric residents to learn more about the complex problem of child sex trafficking and to become resources and advocates to these victims.
