Join nationally recognized experts to learn how you can strategically RESPOND to the sexual exploitation of our children.
Courage Worldwide and William Jessup University host “The Response”—A Global Sex Trafficking Summit. This summit is geared toward professionals who work with or desire to work with victims of sex trafficking. At this summit, various industries will report on their response to this global crime. In addition, education will be provided on the trauma caused by sex trafficking by leading mental health professionals. Presentations will be given on programs, therapies, and best practices for victim rescue and restoration. There will be also be workshops on policy and legislation, the arts and media, health care, technology and industry response. A faith-based track will be offered as well.
Nationally-recognized experts—from law enforcement to medical and mental health professionals, social workers, lawmakers and community leaders—will serve as speakers and panelists, sharing their personal and professional response.
Key individuals and organizations in the fight against sex trafficking will be brought to the Sacramento, California region to educate, equip and empower you to make a tangible difference in the lives of voiceless victims.

Rachelle Ditmore has served as an Urban Missionary and lived within the communities in which she has served for nearly 20 years.
Melissa Farley Ph.D. has been a practicing clinical psychologist for 45 years. She has written 24 peer-reviewed articles on prostitution and trafficking and two books: Prostitution, Trafficking & Traumatic Stress (2004), and Prostitution and Trafficking in Nevada: Making the Connections (2007), based on research funded by the U.S. State Department.
Dr. Jonathan Fung teaches film production and film theory classes at Santa Clara University. He is a prolific filmmaker and visual artist. He collaborated with Nam June Paik, “the father of video art,” for Modulation in Sync at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City.
