Change is coming…. I am so excited for 2012, and I feel so strongly that it is going to be an incredible year for Courage to Be You! We are so blessed to have such humble, talented, award-winning musicians as our C2BU partner artists and we will soon be announcing more who are joining our team. The Music Room (whose song, Cost of Believing is featured on our Believe in Me CD) is generously donating all proceeds of their next album to C2BU to help fund the Courage House. This month, they are raising funds for production costs so that all funds brought in will go directly to C2BU. Our artists continue to write amazing songs that inspire us, draw us to our knees, move us to tears and break our hearts. I can’t wait to hear the music of 2012!
We are launching our first large Courage Conference and partnering with Adventure Christian Church for this event February 3-4, 2012. I am so excited about the lineup of speakers and musicians and that this conference will reach teens, college age and adults – both men and women. All of us want to know our purpose, and this conference is truly life-changing. It is the only conference of its kind- and a great one to bring un-churched family and friends to. Jenny Williamson has written a study that we will be launching immediately following this conference, called The Uniqueness Assessment so that you can continue for 8 weeks following the conference on your journey of purpose. It has been tested with 2 women’s groups and a men’s group and the feedback was extremely positive. Stay tuned for video testimonials we will be sharing with you. Registration Here
In 2011, many lives have been changed and impacted through C2BU through our concerts and conferences, whether they are learning about their purpose and/or about the girls we are rescuing from sex trafficking. Most importantly, several girls, who now call Courage House home, have been changed and I love to see their faces when they are at a concert for the first time, or when they are listening to the songs our artists wrote for them. It is so fulfilling to see them experience the healing presence of God through the worship either at the concerts or worship nights at Courage House. It makes all the work and efforts worth it! Lives are being changed!
